Nala returns to Hervey Bay!

My annual visit to Hervey Bay was rewarded this year with the return of Nala to the Bay. Nala is a local legend and much adored by all. There is a massive statue of her in the town. She has been seen in the bay since 1988 - so 37 years at least! The Blue Dolphin spotted her early on the 4th September and by 8:30am the entire fleet were a buzz with excitement! She is a massive whale and at one point was surrounded by sub-adults - so a legend in the water as well as out! She was with her 15th recorded calf.
